It's raining, it's pouring!

Yesterday was Christmas, and it was an easy, quiet affair at my folks' house.  Brother is in jail, but my sister was visiting.  And grandma and Uncle Jim came over for the afternoon.  My sister and I worked four jigsaw puzzles!

I received a crockpot, a ladder, and an indoor herb garden set-up.  All thoughtful and needed and appreciated.

Brother called us last night at like seven pm.  He said that the prisoners were served a turkey dinner, and he is getting an additional meal (read: extra hot pocket) each day for now because he is so thin/mal-nourished.  I told him about the camp my patient's husband is attending, and he seemed interested in at least looking for the brochure I printed out.  I prayed to St. Maximilian of Kolbe again this morning and thanked him for being close to my brother and asked him to continue to do so.

This morning I went to the gym, and I am still amped from the workout.  I stopped at the grocery on the way home and bought all the needed items to make minestrone soup in the new crock pot.  I just started it; there is a good two hours to go.  I included onion, celery, carrot, zucchini, spinach, tomatoes (diced and paste), kidney beans, peas, green beans, one small Yukon gold potato, and some garlic and oregano.  I will add the bow tie pasta when it's closer to being finished.  I also cashed in the winning lotto tix...$22!

When I got back from the store just now, a neighbor had thrown his metal awning out!  There were two small window pieces just sitting next to the dumpster.  So I called 'Hawk, who is a known scraper.  He said he'll be by after he gets off work to pick them up.  I put them in my garage for safe keeping for now.

Ok, so now to the dirty details and the title of this post.  I am very much completely into Jason.  The amount of Oxytocin just oozing out of my posterior pituitary gland is breaking records here.  I have no intention whatsoever of breaking things off with him or jeopardizing the current situation and what I hope we have for a long time to come.  That being said, I have been solicited by two guys in the past week.  One just last night.  An old friend from high school.  And I said no.  And of course, Jackson, earlier in the week, which I already wrote about.  Both were total no-brainers.  Not even a decision to weigh.  Just a flat out, unhesitant, "nope."  I hope I'm not jinxing it here, but I daresay I feel like my ship has finally come in. :)
