I e-filed my taxes nearly two months ago. I included my bank info and checked the box to allow for direct deposit. I was checking my account everyday to see if the refund had been deposited yet, and after several weeks, still had not received it.
After about six weeks, I received my refund in the mail. Then three days later I received a letter from the IRS, that they couldn't direct deposit the money and were going to send me a check instead.
This afternoon I took my $2 MO state tax refund check to the bank and deposited it into my savings account!
