Training Wheels

So I totally ate it last night. Out on DD Road. Luckily I had my phone. Luckily I ride the same loop so Dad knew exactly where to find me. Luckily for never seeing any cars out there, I got passed by four people who all stopped and stayed with me on the side of the road until Dad arrived. Can I get a missed connection?! Haha!

My elbow was bent backwards and my humerous was bulging out. It was horrifying. I didn't know if I wanted to puke or pass out.

We drove to St. Anthony's and every single bump in the road made me want to scream. Dad drove me right up to the ER bay and I walked inside, in my clip shoes, covered in grass and grease. They brought me right into a room and cut my shirt off me and hooked me up the an IV and started some morphine. All I have to say is, "I totally understand opiate addiction now."

I was taken up to radiology for some xrays and the Dr told me it looked like I had two fractures, but would not know officially until I see the orthopedic surgeon next week.

The put me under general anesthetic to set my arm and put me in a cast. When it was time to leave, they wheeled me out in my underwear and Dad and I drove home. Got back to the house about 2am. Slept pretty unsoundly because I was so uncomfortable.

Now I need a sponge bath.
