There was music/art fare at the Bottleworks. I purchased four pieces, and I'm psyched on them.

Make It Happen
I just got back from San Diego, where I attended Awesome Fiesta 7. It was a great trip, as expected. No vegan food truck, but I did get vegan pizza, delicious SD burritos, and a bunch of blue wackado. Interestingly enough, I did not find post cards, even though I looked at several locations, including the news stand/souvenir shop. I had really wanted to have everyone sign it and then mail it to Hawk, because that would have been funny to me.On Friday night, I got pretty shithammered. I started off at Void for Terry Malts, which was awesome, then I went to Soda for the remainder of the evening. The bathroom situation at Soda is waaaaay bogus. It is fairly large venue, and to have a single stall is straight-up un-legit. I saw a lot of people, but I was down by the stage, dancing and singing along by myself. Dopamines were a surprise in the I was expecting them to suck/be too wasted to play correctly, but they seemed to hold it together. The set-list was good, too. They played the older jams....maybe only two off of Vices, which I don't like that record. TTK finished out the night and I was super excited to see them again.
Saturday highlights included Tight Bros, Stymies, Creeps, and FYP. Holy shit! I think that FYP was THE set of the weekend for me. I stayed at U31 for the whole matinee show and met some colorful characters dressed up as boat captains. It was a conversation starter. My pretty green dress was also a conversation starter. Late show included NC&TBDB at Void, then hopping back and forth between Void and Soda. Caught the last two songs (Dirty Jokes and Phantom Limbs) from Slow Death. Saw a bunch of bands, hung out with Colin a lot. Pretty hazy night, but we closed out at Void to Radon, and it was excellent!! Not too many people were there which was a damn shame.
I had to fly home on Sunday, which was fine. There was not a good price on flights leaving Monday, and by leaving on Sunday, I missed the matinee and late shows. I would have liked to have seen Riverboat Gamblers, URTC, and Tiltwheel. At the end of it all, though, I'm glad I didn't get burned out. It was fine being there for 48 hours.
Oh, and of course, there WAS an epic hook-up tale:
Semen in my hair, on my face, and on my breasts. I'm also sore all over...I want a warm bath and a back rub.
He was from Los Angeles, and had a nice toned body, huge hard cock, and thick dark hair that I liked running my fingers through. I let him buy me a drink, and I let him put his hand on my lower back when were sitting next to each other at a table. I told him, though, that I was not going to make out with him in the bar. So we went outside and made out in the alley.
We went back to his hotel and had sex three times. Once on a recliner and two times on the the hard tile floor. My knees and back bones are really sore from it. He pulled my hair a lot, and I liked it. Then we went to see some live music. After the show, we came back to the hotel and had sex again. I came six times. I still have a hand print on my ass from him grabbing me and spanking me while he was railing me from behind. I sucked him off three times. Then we did it again this afternoon.
And at the end of it all, I still wouldn't want it any other way. Now it's time for Awesome Siesta!
Here's some graffiti from the women's room at Soda:

This is funny to me...
...This morning I packed my gym bag to go to boxing after work. I left my sport bra on my bed, so I went to boxing in my regular, day-to-day bra, aka titties EVERYWHERE!!!!
And the usual instructor was not there. Instead, it was totally smokin' hot substitute named Kyle (who I have seen a few times before, and I'm a total fan!)

a first
Today was another first.
I sliced a fresh pineapple. I was so intimidated by slicing one, that I have always bought it either canned or already sliced up in the produce section.
I found slicing it to be very easy and am no longer intimidated by the pineapple. It had a little tag on it with four steps to follow. Probably helped that the knife was super sharp, too.
There was a lot and I put some of it on a homemade pizza.

It IS the heat. It IS the humidity. IT IS THE HUMANITY!!!!!
I haven't been wearing any clothes all day, and it's been awesome. Not even underwear. But I did wrap a towel around me. Before I was naked in my room on my bed. Successful bang out session x 3, now I'm listening to The Queers, scouring craigslist and fantasizing about getting railed by the blonde stud who works at the Tivoli while Jackson masterbates in the corner.
More importantly, trying to find motivation to put on clothes to go buy beer.

Wednesday
Yesterday was Tuesday, and it was the first day of the fall semester for me. I'm taking Micro this term, and am actually really excited about it. I love science. I love going to school. I love learning!!
The instructor seems super legit. First lab was kinda bogus, though. Bogus in that is was "learning how to use the microscope", which I guess that is the unofficial mandatory first lab for every single science class ever. It was an easy ten points, so whatever. We did make our own mounts with our own cheek cells. Then we viewed them under the oil immersion and could see the bacteria, too! I was pretty sweet.
Then Rumspringer was playing at the Cove. I was super excited for it. A fair number of people there for a Tuesday, especially. Their set was kinda disappointing, though. I don't really like the new record, and they did play some old songs, too. Overall, just meh.
I did take off work this morning because I knew I was going to be up late last night (4:30am!) and probably drunk (yep!). It was so awesome not going in to work until 10am. I need to find a job where that is the regular.
Tonight after work I sold some clothes to a resale shop. I took the cash.....$59!
This blog is a wookie.

...and I wasn't even in MPLS!!
What a weekend....and I wasn't even at the party in MPLS!!
On Friday, I decided rather late to go to the show in Normal. Got there in time for Elway and Masked Intruder. There was a shit-ton of people there and the sets were totally tour tight as expected, even if the bands were obviously under the influence of EVERYTHING THEY WANTED!!!
The pit was brutal; lots of younger-ish college kids with no knowledge of pit-etiquette. But whatevs. For MI, there were TWO cops on stage. Officer Bradford, of course, and the (deaf/mute) bouncer from the bar. It. Was. So. Awesome. Everyone was fully supportive of him being up on stage, and he even crowd surfed once! The look of sheer joy on his face was priceless. I was pushed out of the side/back, but could still see. Near the end of the set, Officer Bradford hoisted me over his shoulder like a caveman carrying his conquest and walked me through the pit. I was wearing a short skirt and my ass was pretty much at face height of everyone! I'm sure there was a glimpse of blue panties, too. It's funny to me!
After the show, people were hanging out a bit, and I was invited to come back to the motel, too. I got my own room. The party bus with the bands, the bouncer, and several locals pulled up outside about 20 minutes later. Jackson called me, I told him my room number, and we were in the shower and then fucking within 5 minutes. A solid bang-out session, as expected. I came several times again, we put all the towels down to try to not soak the bed we would have to sleep on. Jackson came twice. Passed out around 5am, miraculously. I didn't take any drugs, but I felt like I was speeding balls. I was totally wired and couldn't shut the fuck up! I woke up around 9am, totally wired still. We did it once more, with me coming first on top. Then I sat down on the floor and Jackson stood in front of my. I blew him until he was ready to come, then he ejaculated all over my tits. Without cleaning it off of me, we changed into our swim suits (he only had underwear, and ended up wearing my gym shorts, which was funny because they were so tight and so short), grabbed some breakfast beers I had on ice in the sink, and went down to the pool. The semen was glistening in the sun, which is also funny to me. My intention was to wash it off in the pool, but the water was freezing!! I did splash myself/wash it off with hand, because there was no way I was submerging my body in that cold water! We did eventually wade in up to our waists. Jason came out on the deck and joined us for a smoke.
Drove back to the venue (bands), I went across the street to get a tofu scramble. Then I went back to the venue and had another beer before we all parted ways.
I drove to Chicago and went straight to Ben's house. Vitor and Biddy were there, too, and we sat on the porch drinking High Life and admiring (me) all the cute boyz in cut-off shorts, sleeves ditched, zipping around on their bicycles!
I met up with Booker to get the paintings from him. Shit looks tight. I gave him the three bags of coffee from CR. We talked in his house and also in the street for about 30 minutes, then I had plans to meet up with Roy at New Wave.
I ordered 90 miles and stopped by the liquor store for some beer when I went to pick it up. I ordered a spicy tofu sandwich with grilled onions and peppers and black beans. It was delicious. The bread is amaaaaazing!
Everyone else left to go to the Beat Kitchen for a show, I stayed at home and took a nap. Nick came home after work to take a nap before heading to his show at Quencher's. We talked for several minutes. Roy texted me at 11pm, and I walked to Cole's to meet up with him and his girl and nine of her friends. There were A LOT of weirdos there. By weirdos, I mean hipsters. Full of themselves. Girls who are otherwise probably cute but who wear unflattering clothes. The bands sounded great, though. I did't go into the back room where the stage was but was able to hear it at a nice volume from the front room, where I had a seat at the bar. I was admiring the bartender. A dude named Micky was admiring me. He came up to me, introducted himself, and told me I was the most gorgeous girl in the bar. He liked a Rachel Maddow vibe I was putting out (a compliment, referring to my glasses, hairstyle, and jawline). I was pretty chilled out at the bar. I had like five beers at the house before I left, then two at the bar, and some smoke went around. I didn't indulge, but I did get a little contact high and was super chilled out. It was nice. There was absolutely no stress in my body whatsoever. It was very zen.
Two of Angie's friends were fucking wasted, and Roy drove them home. I walked back to Ben's house, where five us stayed up hanging out. I went to Ben's room to sleep for a bit, then a few hours later, he came and woke me up. I was to go sleep out in the living room because he had a girl with him....no problem. There were four of us on all the couches and floor in the front room. Thank fuck no one was snoring! I think I heard Nick stumble in late late late, but I also don't know. I woke originally at like 7am. I knew Booker was already awake and I texted him about meeting up for Handlebar.
We met up at 1020am. I had arrived at 10am and ordered a Tecate. Book was glad to see I was back on the sauce. (Hahahaha! Me, too!) I ordered another beer and a vegan sloppy joe. It was delicious. TVP base with slaw, served on sourdough. Collard greens for the side. We hung our for about an hour, then I drove home.
An excellent weekend. I have that special mental easiness that results from the sheer exhaustion of a weekend bender. And I'm off work tomorrow, too!!!!
