I just got back from San Diego, where I attended Awesome Fiesta 7. It was a great trip, as expected. No vegan food truck, but I did get vegan pizza, delicious SD burritos, and a bunch of blue wackado. Interestingly enough, I did not find post cards, even though I looked at several locations, including the news stand/souvenir shop. I had really wanted to have everyone sign it and then mail it to Hawk, because that would have been funny to me.
On Friday night, I got pretty shithammered. I started off at Void for Terry Malts, which was awesome, then I went to Soda for the remainder of the evening. The bathroom situation at Soda is waaaaay bogus. It is fairly large venue, and to have a single stall is straight-up un-legit. I saw a lot of people, but I was down by the stage, dancing and singing along by myself. Dopamines were a surprise in the I was expecting them to suck/be too wasted to play correctly, but they seemed to hold it together. The set-list was good, too. They played the older jams....maybe only two off of Vices, which I don't like that record. TTK finished out the night and I was super excited to see them again.
Saturday highlights included Tight Bros, Stymies, Creeps, and FYP. Holy shit! I think that FYP was THE set of the weekend for me. I stayed at U31 for the whole matinee show and met some colorful characters dressed up as boat captains. It was a conversation starter. My pretty green dress was also a conversation starter. Late show included NC&TBDB at Void, then hopping back and forth between Void and Soda. Caught the last two songs (Dirty Jokes and Phantom Limbs) from Slow Death. Saw a bunch of bands, hung out with Colin a lot. Pretty hazy night, but we closed out at Void to Radon, and it was excellent!! Not too many people were there which was a damn shame.
I had to fly home on Sunday, which was fine. There was not a good price on flights leaving Monday, and by leaving on Sunday, I missed the matinee and late shows. I would have liked to have seen Riverboat Gamblers, URTC, and Tiltwheel. At the end of it all, though, I'm glad I didn't get burned out. It was fine being there for 48 hours.
Oh, and of course, there WAS an epic hook-up tale:
Semen in my hair, on my face, and on my breasts. I'm also sore all over...I want a warm bath and a back rub.
He was from Los Angeles, and had a nice toned body, huge hard cock, and thick dark hair that I liked running my fingers through. I let him buy me a drink, and I let him put his hand on my lower back when were sitting next to each other at a table. I told him, though, that I was not going to make out with him in the bar. So we went outside and made out in the alley.
We went back to his hotel and had sex three times. Once on a recliner and two times on the the hard tile floor. My knees and back bones are really sore from it. He pulled my hair a lot, and I liked it. Then we went to see some live music. After the show, we came back to the hotel and had sex again. I came six times. I still have a hand print on my ass from him grabbing me and spanking me while he was railing me from behind. I sucked him off three times. Then we did it again this afternoon.
And at the end of it all, I still wouldn't want it any other way. Now it's time for Awesome Siesta!
