First post via the wireless network at my new house! It is funny to me, because I went through the instructions no less than 45 times and was still not able to get the network hooked-up. I called Charter and they sent a technician over today, but he was unable to help me since the modem (from Charter) is working fine and is connected. The problem was with the router. So I called the tech support number on the box insert and after several moments, a man just said, "Herro?"
"Hi..........Is this the correct number fore Tenda Tech support?
"Oh, Hi. Yes. What is the model number on the box....." It sounds like there are children in the background eating breakfast and watching cartoons. But the man got me up and running in no time.
It seemed like such an easy fix....just ONE selection box that needed to be switched and POOF! I'm online!
I am curious to know where this man was located, like how many times was my call forwarded, etc. Maybe he is in a work-from-home situation. Whose knows? But the whole conversation was less than 4 minutes long.
Roku got connected immediately, too.
I admit, that is has been nice to not have these things, and I think that even with the internet only, I still will be very productive/I won't just be wasting time surfing around for nothing in particular. Every night after work I have either gone to boxing or ridden my bike on the levee trail, then come hom, made dinner, worked in the yard. It's been really nice not being connected.
