Defusing a bomb

Last Thursday, Matt and I rode our bikes up to the Ballroom. The night was gorgeous. Perfect temps. A decent crowd. Also, I had the most delicious vegan chocolate cake that I wanted to bring up to share with Justin. We ordered some beers, played some pinball, and selected some songs from the Jukebox. I saw Dave, who I hadn't seen in months, and started talking to him. I guess I kinda got caught up in my conversation with Dave and ignored Matt. Then some of the Dude's dudes showed up and I saw Matt socializing with them. So, no big deal, I thought.

When Matt was ready to go, he came over to tell me; I was still talking with Dave. I turned around and said, "Let me get my bike." Matt thought I was leaving with Dave and was wanting to get my bike. But really, I was wanting to leave with Matt (our bikes were locked up together outside). So I went to piss once before I left, then went promptly outside to the bike rack...and Matt and his bike were gone! So I hopped on my bike and quickly pedaled back to his house/my car, thinking that I could catch him. But I never saw him! So I put my bike in my car and then my phone went off. Matt sent me a message; it's hard to get the full intention when its just written word and not other verbal cues, but he seemed upset. He was at Lemmon's and told me "You's a ho, ho!" and to "go home with your boy."

I had several choices on how to handle this. I can completely understand how this was easily a misunderstanding. I took the high road. I texted back, "you're silly. Dave and I have been friends for years and he's married." This is all true (although they are currently separated). Then I got in my car and drove to Lemmon's. Matt and 'Hawk were inside, as were a lot of other people. It was pretty late. I went to find Matt by the shuffleboard, and said, "I went to go to the bathroom before we left and when I went outside you were gone! So I raced back to the house thinking I could catch you and when you weren't there, I drove up here!" He was amazed that I was that quick, and seemed to cool down after the misunderstanding that I had (perceived) to ditch him for another. So we hung out at Lemmon's til a little after two.

Matt had his bike, I had my car, and we joked about who could get home quicker. So we left at the same time. I drove up to the house and parked on the street, looking in my side mirror for him to crest the hill. I only beat him by about a minute! He was a little sore about it because he hates to loose! But it was all in fun.

We decided to go across the street to Lew's house and swim in the pool. The air temps were perfect, and the water was a little cold, so we didn't get in all the way. Just sat on the wooden deck with our beers in hand and legs in the water. He was splashing my legs with the water a little bit, then suddenly we both just turned to face each other and started kissing. Believe me when I admit that I had not forgotten about how much I enjoy kissing him, how soft and full his lips are, or how both us just seem to just fit perfectly together. But it was nice to be able to stop reminiscing and get back to it for real.

We hung out at the pool until our beers were gone, then ran back across the street to his house. We ended up going to his room and kissing some more and things escalated from there. I know I go into details on my other posts, but I don't want to go into details in this post at this time, but it was the most satisfying, hottest encounter in years, possibly ever. It was totally awesome and hot and the best in years back in January before he had to move away for a bit, and this session blew those completely out of the water! He is and does everything I want out of an encounter, and I am sure that I do the same for him. He ended up getting off three times, which is absolutely incredible! I came numerous times, and he gets so into it when I go; I'm really happy that he gets excited about it and that makes me want to do it more. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have not been able to stop thinking about it all week.
