Am just now recovering from a six day bender. Yes, I am physically exhausted, but psychologically I feel rejuvenated.
I was on spring break last week, so I didn't have to go to school after work. Sam Bot was in STL from San Diego for a wrestling tournament.
On Wednesday, we hit up Delmar and Sam Bot scored a ticket to see Chuck Berry at the Duck Room. He tried to give me play but I wasn't having it.
On Thursday, I took him to the Silver Ballroom and we played some pinball. Then went to South Grand. I ran into cutie pie from the ballroom at Mangia and we (YES!) traded info!
On Friday there was a local show, but I stayed in the house, and Sam went on an adventure on the East Side.
On Saturday, friends from MPLS were in town, and I met up with everyone at FUBAR. So excited to see my forever favorite. Show was 'aight. Nato is a showman! And the Chill Dawgs are fun! But it was St. Pat's Day and not a lot of people were at the show. BUT, my arch nemesis was there, looking as disgusting as ever. Even if people aren't especially attractive on the outside, a kickass personality makes up for so much. This girl is one of the top three most ugly (on the inside) people I have ever encountered, which makes her even more unbearable on the outside.
She wanted to hook up with Sam Bot SOOOO BADLY! She even pulled him into the bathroom. He allegedly couldn't get away. Sam Human and I went out to the car to partake in some Adderall, and Sam Bot came and found us several minutes later.
He told us this girl started blowing him in the backseat of her car and then abruptly stopped. She told him that if he wanted a finish, he'd have to come back to her house. He got pissed, said 'fuck this!' and jacked off in the back seat quickly and jizzed all over her car. A souvenir t-shirt was a casualty of this whole fiasco, but the story makes up for it!
We headed to Lemmon's for afterhours then to the Minnesota House. Sam Bot fell asleep on the couch. Most everyone else stayed up partying. Sam Human and I went to a seedy motel but there was no vacancy, so we came back to my parents' house. We banged out in the basement then went upstairs to my room fell asleep together. I had been wanting this all day. He is just like I remember, but he has lost some weight. I love his strong chest and sloping shoulders. And his chest/torso is the perfect amount of hair and softness.
We did it again in the morning when we woke up and everyone else had gone to work. This was the third time I have ever had sex in my parents' house, and the first time it ever happened in my room. I liked it, and it was LOUD! We showered together then went to get some food.
Sam wanted Everest, which I took him there last June when he was in town and he really liked it. After food, we thought that Nato and friends were at the Art Museum, so we went to Forest Park. Turns out, they were at City Museum, and had just been kicked out for 'offensive t-shirts'. Kyle's did have two f-bombs on it, and Nato's had 'ass' on it. The story goes:
Security: You'll have to leave because of the word on your shirt. Nato: "What word? Tacos?" Security: (spells it out)A-S-S. Nato: "Donkey?!"
They had to leave. Sam told me he had never seen an elephant, so we went to the zoo. It was a beautiful day, and the zoo was packed! We saw penguins, bears, monkeys, elephants, hippos. It was awesome. Sam was holding my hand as we were walking around. He's so tender, it was really nice.
The Blue Diamond Band was to play in Normal that evening, and I was going to drive up to the show with Biff and Sam Bot. Sam Human wanted to ride in my car, too, which was not a problem at all. Nato just told me to make sure we were there by nine pm.
So we came back to my house, got my bag, then went to pick up Biff, then Sam Bot and breezed on up to Normal. We got some pizza and a shit-ton of beer. The show was great! During Nato's set, there was one point where he did a jump, but his foot was caught in Kyle's bass cord, and Nato fell face forward, knocking over the mic, and landing on his chest with his caught leg suspended up in the air behind him. This is in slow-mo in my mind, seeing him teeter on the edge of the stage, almost falling off face first. But he recovered and HE RECOVERED and the set continued on without a hitch.
I went out to the car and took a nap. No one could find me because I was wearing black pants, a black hoodie pulled up over my head, and I was laying down across the back seat.
After the show, we were all going to sleep at this dude Austin and his wife's house. Sam Bot and Biff got in my car, and we saw Sam Human get in the band van. We made several right turns and found ourselves on a cul-de-sac. Nato jumped out of the driver's seat to exchange with some one who knew where he was going. They asked us if we had Sam Human in the car. We said, "NO! We thought he was in the van with you!"
Oh jeez! We left Sam at the bar! And his phone was dead! So we drove back to the bar. It was closed, but he was still inside socializing with the bartender and friends, and didn't even know we had left him! Haha!
So Sam got in my car and we all headed to the house. I couldn't stay there because there were numerous cats, so I went to the tried and true, seedy-as-fuck Motel 6. Sam came with me, of course. And we banged out again. This time, his dick was so hard and his boner was huge. The hardest and biggest I'd ever seen it. We got to sleep next to each other again, and it makes my heart smile.
Monday morning we went back to the house to pick everyone up and drive back to STL. The tour was over and Sam didn't have to work until Thursday, so he wanted to come hang out in STL for a few days. Of course, I didn't mind at all.
We dropped Sam Bot off at his motel and said goodbye; he had to fly back to San Diego. Then we took Biff back to his house; he had to go to work in a few hours.
The day was beautiful. Sam and I went to South Grand and hit up the City Diner. He had never had a slinger before, so of course he got that. I think it's disgusting! But he liked it. We were able to order some beers. Then we went to Tower Grove Park and relaxed on a blanket under some blossoming Bradford Pear trees. The day was perfect!
Sam wanted to get a little flash commemorative tattoo, and I called Andy, who happened to be working and had time to see us. Sam picked a little skull and crossbones flash piece with MPLS underneath in block letters. It's cute and the perfect size, tucked up under some other stuff on his right arm.
After tattoos, we went to the Silver Ballroom and played some pinball, then the Heavy Anchor for pizza and a night cap.
Finished the night relatively early comparatively speaking. Banged out at our cheap motel and I was asleep by 1:30am.
I had to work all day (8 hour surgery! Oh my!) on Tuesday, but was hoping I'd be finished early. And I was. Clocked out by 3:15. Was expecting Sam to be either asleep or drunk when I got back to the motel. He was wiiiide awake and ready to party. Biff was expecting us, so we swung by the Minnesota House, had a few beers, then headed to Cherokee for cheap authentic Mexican food, beers, and Apop. Sam got some vinyl and a few books for the train ride home.
There was a local show on Tuesday night, so after Cherokee, we went back to the Minnesota House and pre-partied until it was time to head to the venue. It was on Jefferson, in the fucking hood, but luckily I got a spot on the main (well-lit) drag. Sam really enjoyed the show, and I was glad. We were watching the bands, and he was socializing with other people, but was still sitting close to me and making me feel special.
After the show, I was exhausted and didn't want to go to after hours. So I dropped Sam and Biff off and Lemmon's and then headed back to the motel. I was asleep by 2am. Woke up at 5:20am to take Sam to the train. He stayed up all night drinking and partying with Biff (he asked me if I minded, and I said of course not. And I meant it. I'm glad he has made other friends here. Plus, I wanted to sleep before work!)
I drove Sam to the Amtrak station and we held each other very close for a very long time in the hallway before he boarded his train. I sent him a text at 7:22am when I got to work. "I waited and watched your train pull away. I wish I was still in the hallway with my lips pressed to yours."
I raced my first criterium on Ex-Girlfriend yesterday in Carondelet Park. It both crushed me and exhilirated me.
I did not puke, wreck, or come in last, but I did over-estimate my fitness level. Just because I can go tootle along the levee 30+ miles a few times a week doesn't mean I'm in racing condition.
The other girls were also fucking brickhouses on the bottom. Huge asses and thighs. The beginning of the race was downhill, and it was easy to see all the other racers accelerating faster than me on the declines. But I caught up on the uphill each time.
I am not deterred, and will def race again. I'm most looking forward to a run/bike event coming up in April, and then in May I will be able to join the weekly Tuesday night series.
There was another race in Forest Park today, but I was pretty exhausted. Went out late last night, then with the time change this morning, didn't even wake up until nearly eleven.
On a recent late afternoon walk with wiener, a helicopter flew by, low and close. All I could think of was the scene in Full Metal Jacket when Joker asks Animal "How (he) can shoot women and children?" To which his response is, "Simple. Just lead them less."
This made me think of my classmate Hagan, which made me think of the time we both told the same story for the retirement video for Loren. Hagan was frustrated because Loren could never remember his name in class. One day, while down in the editing room, Loren called me over, by my last name. I teased Hagan about this, about Loren remembering my name. He later confided in me that Loren had turned to him and asked him my name before confidently calling me over. He then turned turned Hagan and smiled, "I said it like I knew what it was! Hahahaha!"
31 birthday was kind of a bust. But I also don't care.
I have to laugh....everyone at work thought is was my 30th birthday, and they got me a 30th birthday balloon and card!
The day was long; I worked for eleven hours. Co-workers bought me a hilarious card, office manager gave me a fifth of honey whisky, which is awesome. And there was a vegan cheesecake from Chicago Diner, which no one else ate, so I had this whole freakin' thing to eat myself.
After work I had school until 10pm. After school I decided to go to the Ballroom. No one met up with me; but the place was packed! There were two other people who's birthday was also two sixteen.
Justin was behind the bar, which was awesome! I shared some of the cheesecake with him. I had great conversation with the guy sitting next to me. His name is Brandon. He's an electrician and owns his own house in the city. In hindsight, I probably should have gotten his number. But I don't really want to deal with a boyfriend right now (or ever?). Also, I would prefer some one who doesn't smoke, drink excessively, and is veg. I know he does not fit those criteria. He was way cute, though. I'm sure I'll run into him again up there.
Birthday shot was Fireball Whisky with Apple Pucker. Smooth and delicious!
I was pretty exhausted and depressed on Friday, and I ended up not going up to Chicago. I was pretty exhausted and depressed on Saturday, and still did not make it up to Chicago. I was pretty exhausted and depressed on Sunday, but did manage to make it out of the house. Matthew contacted me at last, and I went over to his house. It was actually nice to hang out sober.
Matthew has been MIA, and I have left him alone because a)I don't want to smother him, and b)I know he is dealing with a lot right now.
He thanked me for being understanding. He lost his beloved job on Sunday, is getting slapped with an ankle bracelet this coming Thursday, and will be moving to his parents' house for three months at the end of this week. There's no hard feelings. I know that he is pretty bummed about the whole situation, but he has also accepted responsibility for his actions leading to these circumstances, as well as accepting that he needs to make some changes. Overall, he seems pretty optimistic about the situation.
I'm taking a study break to type this; will now return to hitting the books. Test isn't for three more days; call me Ms. Time Management!
